I have multiple workflows where contacts get assigned to users. What’s happening is when a user leaves the organization, we need to manually browse all these workflows and make the change with her/his replacement. Wouldn’t be nice if workflows allow assigning users based on defined roles? For eg - If I assign contacts based on their region to different users, can there be a method where we store details of each regional manager and refer that in workflows? (Like HubDB types). So in the future if a region manager gets changed, I can make the change in the table that stores these details instead of making change in all workflows which is prone to errors.
We need this. Assiging workflow ctions to users causes many hassles down the line. For workflows to have any longevity this needs to be a feature.
