Using a Custom URL in Properties

I have a form I send to clients before their first visit. Using Zapier, I created custom URLs to already pre-fill information from Hubspot, and this URL is mapped back to a property in Hubspot on the client page.

I want to use this URL is emails and preferably linked to a button or embedded. All I know how to do know, is use the property in a template, but it embeds it a the ugly URL.

1.) Can I use a property in an HTML code to make a clickable button.

Or

2.) Can I embed a link from a property?

Or

3.) Can I set up formatting for the link?

Or is there other way to do this that I am missing.

Hi @LThoms

We solved this issue using a Custom Module in an email template. You can create a custom module with a URL using Contact Properties and add it to your Email (the URL property would be added to the href).

Another solution (if you have Marketing Pro or Marketing Enterprise) would be to create a CTA for each option and add it to your email using Smart Content (probably based on List Membership).

Have fun

Mike
