Update API User Provisioning with Deactivate user parameter

  • With the user provisioning API we can create users (Accounts Dashboard | HubSpot)
  • In the HubSpot graphical interface we can deactivate manually users (instead of removing the user).

However the ability to modify a user with the API and deactivate that user would help in building better authentication integrations, where an HR platform is linked to HubSpot in order to create HubSpot users for employees.

Adding this as a parameter into the existing modify user API call would be the most easy solution.

The inability to deactivate an user via API severly impacts ANY identity governance project… please att this possibility
