I amybe misunderstanding what “Unassigned” actually means. I have a tab called Unassigned Contacts. Allmy contacts and companies have an owner “Sales Person”. Adding the Sales Person as the Owner I expected that record to not show in the tab “Unassigned Contacts”. But they are. What am I doing wrong?

Is “Sales person” a custom property? If you’re not sure, could you share a screenshot of the index page table header?
If it is, then the owner filter does not care about this custom property, frankly. The owner filter only looks at the default “Contact owner” property.

I have figured it out, even though the TAB states Unassigned which I think is a default tab, i noticed the only way it works is by using a filter. I assumed it was automatice. Thank you for your help
