I was able to get the react environment to load on http://localhost:3000/ one time using HS project dev a couple weeks ago. I was able to make middle column card edits in the browser without issue.
I now have a different project I am working on and when I try to use hs project dev it freezes at a point shown in the screenshot. Apparently there is a third [info] statement that is supposed to populate and the browser should open with React.
I have tried:
- forcing a different port
- different test accounts
- updating auth
- different freshly uploaded test project
- killing all port 3000 use via powershell
Worth mentioning, I am still learning and use a lot of chatGPT. Thanks
Hi @EAmoroso, I hope that you are well!
Thanks for asking the Community!
You are trying to create a project. Please let me know if that’s not the case.
I’d like to invite a couple of subject matter experts to this conversation: Hi @zach_threadint, @MBERARD and @Teun do you have suggestions to help @EAmoroso, please?
If you believe there is a bug, I would recommend connecting with HubSpot Technical Support, as Support is included in your subscription and they will be able to provide real-time assistance for this matter, including hopping on a screenshare if necessary.
Thanks a lot and have a great day!
Best,
Bérangère
Hi @EAmoroso ![]()
Those 2 [INFO] lines indicate that the HubSpot CLI feature is effectively waiting for a successful connection to be made with a compatible browser. In my experience, Google Chrome works effectively when using HubSpot’s local development tools. Which browser have you been using when trying to test?
I hope this proves helpful. Please let me know if you have any follow-up questions.
This is not neccessarily an accepted solution. I can confirm I have not marked any solution accepted. In fact, I wiped and updated npm with no change.
