The floating sidebar may be useful to some, but for those who do not use it, it is a chore to constantly move it out of our way. These kinds of things should be optional, we should have the option of turning them off if they bother us.
I agree. It’s frustrating to keep moving a widget that I rarely use.

Commenting for the algorithm and also provide a helpful tip for others: I was able to use ublock origin’s element picker mode to create a rule that blocks the floating sidebar (firefox).
Yes, please remove this! It’s so annoying, we never use the comments feature in HubSpot, and I’m constantly moving that nuissance around on my screen so I can see things behind it. It’s so bothersome - please provide users with a setting to hide it.
