I would like to send SMS via hubspot using transactional API, but after researching enough I am convinced that there is no straightforward path to this. Can you please give me a guideline on how I can do this?
Lets just say I add an app from marketplace which will send SMS for me, but is there an api which I can use to upload a single contact for the SMS to be send, and finally connect with using a workflow?
Hello @AAhmed66 thank you for posting in our Community! Checking more information I was able to find this developer doc about Communications (more information here).
The problem is I am not sure if this creates a log message for contact or this sends a message to a specific contact?
Also the other community problem that you posted, in that case the user uploads all the contacts using CSV, however, I want to send SMS in real time, when I send a request, just like transactional email. Can you please help me out, it would be super helpful.
I’d use this today if I could. Just like transactional emails, more and more ecommerce companies are using transactional SMS. So why do we have a single send API for transactional emails, with custom properties and not SMS? This is a major missing component in HubSpot - one I hope they implement quickly.
Hi @McBeer,
Thank you so much for sharing your feedback! We understand how valuable a Single Send API for transactional SMS, similar to what’s available for transactional emails, would be for your business.
To help our product team review and prioritize this request, we encourage you to submit your idea in the HubSpot Ideas Forum. This forum is regularly monitored by our product team, and ideas with significant interest from the community are given higher consideration for implementation.
Thank you again for taking the time to share your thoughts and help us improve HubSpot!
