Under Settings > Pages > Integrations, HubSpot offers an option to add a GA4 code and also a GTM code.
Is it necessary to fill in the GA4 code when this tag is already added to your Google Tag Manager? And, if you fill in both, will they interfere with each other and cause double tracking or other conflicts?
Hey @MathieuMaes,
Thank you for posting in the Community!
I’d like to tag in some Comumnity experts to see what insight they may have for us. @Aakar and @derekcavaliero - any thoughts on whether it’s necessary to fill in the GA4 code when this tag is already added to your Google Tag Manager? And, if you fill in both, will they interfere with each other and cause double tracking or other conflicts?

Hi @MathieuMaes - Yes, you’re right. If your website is already tracked in GA4 using Google Tag Manager, you don’t need to add that tracking ID to HubSpot. Please avoid adding the code/ID to HubSpot if it’s already being tracked in GTM.
Thanks.
