Currently, if you delete an existing property value in a form and submit it as blank, the value is not cleared and is instead treated as “no change.”
This is inconvenient when using it as an “edit form” for member or company information, as users cannot delete optional fields they have previously entered.
I would like you to add an option to the form field settings labeled:
“Allow clearing property values from the form”
When this is turned ON, the following should be possible:
Existing value present → Delete input content → Submit as blank → Clear the property
If this can be toggled ON/OFF on a per-field basis, it would also allow us to maintain the existing “blank = no change” behavior, making it very user-friendly.
I am aware of the method involving workflows and a dedicated clearing property, but when a form has many fields, this approach becomes cumbersome.
I am really struggling with this. Please make this a reality!
