Services are recommended to track launching of deals, they offer pipeline/stages and a similar overall flow to deals. However, the reporting is laggin behind - e.g. can’t create a funnel report to see services progression between the deals. There are other limitations currently - auto association with the records Services are linked to (achieved via a flow), customization of the cards etc. Reporting is the most critical that stalls the adoption of Services by the teams they were created and customised for, to switch from another tool.
Hi team,
Posting this on behalf of a customer:
Enable Funnel Reports on the Services Object
Problem / Use Case
Today, HubSpot’s funnel reports are limited to a few core data sources:
- Contacts (lifecycle stages)
- Companies (lifecycle stages, in the new funnel experience)
- Deals (deal stages)
- Custom event funnels on Enterprise
However, it’s not currently possible to build a native funnel report using the Services object as the funnel’s data source. For teams using the Services object to manage and track service delivery, onboarding, or implementation workflows, this creates a gap: we can see how many Services are in each status via custom reports, but we cannot easily measure conversion rates between those statuses the way we can with Deals.
