Currently it seems that the tasks created on hubspot can be associated to multiple objects and records.
At the moment, if we associate more than 1 contact to the task, when clicking on the task from the task page - It directs me to the contact that was created most recently.
It would be great if we could choose which record we want the task link to direct to.
Yeah, it would be great if we could select this.
When working a task list, on some tasks you want to go to a deal, others the company, etc.
Also agree, this is a necessary feature.
This is fundamental and core to any other CRM on the planet. Cannot believe this ain’t a.basic feature in HubSpot

We so need this. Especially because we create lots of tasks for tickets. Every time a support person clicks on their tasks, they get taken to the Company Record instead of the Ticket. We should 100% be able to choose a primary association for the task. More importantly, if a task is created from within a particular record, the task name link should default to that record.
Any updates on this request please. All other CRMs - this is basic!
This would be incredibly useful functionality for task creation. Being able to specify record type or record by association label would greatly improve the functionality of automated tasking.
