Hi team! I am posting this idea on behalf of a customer.
They flagged inconsistent stage sorting behavior between deals and other pipeline-based objects (e.g., custom objects). For deals, both board and table views respect the drag‑and‑drop stage order configured in pipeline settings. For other objects, the table view instead sorts by internal stage IDs, which can produce an unintuitive stage order that doesn’t match the visible pipeline configuration.
The customer is requesting that all pipeline-based objects support sorting by the visible pipeline stage order, consistently with deals, and that board/table views align on this behavior to avoid confusion and unexpected data side effects.
