Substack Unsubscribe Notification, Link Direction

Hello, we recently migrated our Substack to Hubspot for email marketing. Because the two platforms don’t currently integrate, I’d like to create an unsubscribe message for anyone who unsubscribes from our Substack newsletter that directs them to unsubscribe on our website (via HubSpot). Otherwise, we need to manually remove people and do so quickly to be compliant. I read the post about how to find the page that give unsubscribe preferences (which I found helpful), but I don’t see how to grab the external facing url for that page so I can embed it into Substack. Any advice on how or if I can put a url that directs a Substack (and now HubSpot subscriber) to the right place to unsubscribe? Thanks! Sarah

Hi @sarahrusso,

There is no single static link for that page, it is generated per recipient of a HubSpot marketing email.

If you want to capture unsubscribes in HubSpot, the easiest option is setting up a HubSpot form with just an email address field - then manually unsubscribe everyone that submits it.

Best regards!
