We’re using Hubspot to send event attendee communications.
We trying to set up a workflow which will send a sequence of emails on specific dates. However, people may register at anytime in the lead up to the event and we don’t want them to recieve 6 separate emails in quick succession.
Is there a way to send emails within a specific range of dates, after which they get a completely different email?
For example we have an email on the 8th may and then another one on the 15th, if someone registers after the 15th we want to send than 1 email with content from both.
Yes, this can be achieved with a delay until a date. When adding such a delay, you can specify what should happen when a contact arrives at the delay after that specified date:
The branch on the left would contain communications sent up until that date, the branch on the right the communications that should be sent after.
That way, yiu can skip earlier emails from an event promotion. Using the “Go to action” workflow action, you can rejoin the branches. If someone arrives early enough at the branch, they’ll receive the email. If they arrive, jump to the next branch or action.
