It would be great to be able to hide/show sections, content, and modules based on a smart rule - both in emails and on web pages. Right now, you can only replace/change using smart rules.
100% needed, I’ve just gone to create a dynamic page today using smart rules and am baffled as to why you can’t add a smart rule for a row or column to configure it’s viewport visibility toggle. Seems link a simple request when wanting to utilise smart rules for changing content, why can’t we change the properties of the rows/columns!
same for me - sending out a newsletter, but one offer (a section in the email) isn’t available for a certain country. So why not just hide the section? I have no content to exchange picture, text and button to something else. So two emails are needed… that’s not nice.
We need this! The Smart Rules feature is actually really limited because you cannot hide an entire module or section in the default view and show it only when the criteria is met. If, say, there were 8-15 different modules on the page with content and you only want to show those to the visitor based on a specifc criteria for each module section, it isn’t possible with the current system, which is really disappointing. Make the Landing Page / Website Page / Email editor with Smart Rules more intuitive because right now it is too limited to be useful.
Yes this is so basic in other platforms. It’s crazy it’s been overlooked or deprioritized this long.
Totally agree, no idea why this isn’t already possible…
Been a whole year an still not implemented? Sighhhh… such a basic feature that is standard with most other esps and crms.
Yeah, this is a big miss. This catches me out all the time.
Today, for example, I’d like to include a button in an email for a certain segment of subscribers, and no button for others. But I can’t. So… it’s either multiple emails (urgh!) or a… kinda pointless button with a fairly meaningless link, just because I still have to have one.
