Sequence Edits

When an email sequence is created and people are already enrolled, it would be ideal to allow for edits within the sequence. Edits can be made now, but the new content is not what customers see if they are already enrolled. This would enable us to edit emails not yet sent within the sequence.

Agree 100%. I used to use Outreach at a prior company and we routinely created a sequence (e.g., nurture sequence) with a basic set of steps in it and then would add on to it as new content was developed or to extend it after we get it going with a few initial steps and as long as people hadn’t already passed the edited step in the sequence everyone would get the content. Having to unenroll and renroll contacts is time consuming and risky if you select wrong.

This is a frequent customer request and roadblock in business process.

I agree 100% as well! Why is this a roadblock in the business process. This should be a very simple fix and something that is very important for any sales person to be able to edit the next emails or steps in the sequence.

When can you get this functionality on the platform.

This is a major flaw and should be a priority to be fixed. I was never informed of this and created my sequences as I went. I created the first email before enrolling my 50 major contacts. In the following days, I created my second email and clicked update, and I thought I was good to go. When I went to follow up with a few of my contacts, I noticed they had received the below email. How embarrassing. This should be fixed yesterday and should be a high priority. If not, I will not be renewing this upgrade until it’s fixed, as it doesn’t allow for spelling errors, graphics, stats and wordage updates. Not functional.

It would be nice to edit the sequence step and the contact details (e.g., abbreviated first name, use a different business name, email address, etc.)
