How to use hubspot to track CTA?

The “Create a CTA” functionality is not SEO friendly.

It uses redirected URLs and URLs with parameters which is not good for SEO.

There is no option to change the <a> tag by a JavaScript link or a button tag…

Is it possible to change the code and keep the tracking ?

Hi, @ASaint-Paul. To your direct question, this is not possible using the CTA tool. In this case, there are no endpoints that allow for editing the behaviour. All edits to the CTA tool are only accessible in-app via the CTA editor.

Thanks for your answer.

So if I create a CTA with the tool and I replace the <a> tag by a <button> tag or if I use a onclick instead of href, the stats won’t be taken into account ?
