For the SEO certificate, a lot of SEO work seems to involve needing subscriptions to things like MOZ. I can’t ask my company to purchase these items but I feel I can’t do to much with out it. Anyone else in this position?

Hi @ATweedie the SEO certification itself doesn’t require any practical exercises or access to outside tools. You can still complete the coursework (videos) and take the exam without needing a subscription.
There are some free tools (for example SEMRush has a free option) that you can play around with while you gain experience.
