SAML Provider Redundancy

Hi All

I’m working to bring a SAML provider online, and one of our concerns is around availability and what happens if the provider goes down. If I’m configured to use SSO for all users, and then that SSO provider experiences an outage, is there a way for my users to revert to logging in with a username and password?

Any help or advice would be appreciated, even if it’s telling me to post this somewhere else.

Thanks!

Matt

Thank you for reaching out to the Community!
I understand that you have set up SSO and you’d like to know if you’d be able to revert to login with username and password if needed.

Hi @MattMOster, I hope that you are well!
Just checking in, do you still need help with this?
Thanks,

For future users with the same question, the solution to this is to maintain an admin account which can log in without SSO and in the event of an outage, that admin can then disable the SSO requirement.
