The Hubspot to Salesforce integration is syncing contacts that are NOT on the inclusion list. Does anyone have any ideas how to troubleshoot this? What could be wrong?
Hey @GCanopy, thank you for posting in our Community!
It sounds like the inclusion list isn’t being applied correctly. Check your Salesforce integration settings to ensure the right list is selected.
Also, review the list’s criteria to confirm it’s filtering the correct contacts.
Try re-saving the inclusion list setting or reconnecting Salesforce if the issue persists. To our top experts, @TomM2 and @franksteiner79 do you have any feedback to @GCanopy matter?
Thank you,
Pam
Hey @GCanopy as @PamCotton mentioned you may need to save the inclusion list updates. If you’ve done this the only thing I could think of is that there’s a third party tool integrating HS and SFDC, or you have another tool bringing contacts/leads into both HS and SFDC. I’d check the source of the contacts/leads you’re seeing in SFDC that aren’t on your inclusion list within SF, if you’re still seeing that they were created from HubSpot I’d recomend reaching out to HubSpot support to troubleshoot further as that’s definitely an issue.
Hi Tom,
Thank you so much for your reply. The inclusion list does NOT include the contacts that I do not want to have sync. However in the contact record list of activities, I see a “Salesforce sync” card with the message ‘<name> was synced with Salesforce’. Does this indicate that hubspot did the sync? Or could it still be another application? I appreciate your help!
