Sales Rep Activity Tracking

Hi all,

I would like to record and track sales rep activities. These activities include:- entertainment, presentations, meetings, roadshows and such. I am not sure where or what property i could create to let sales rep select from an activity dropdown list and record dates for said activities associated to a lead/contact. Additionally, would like a custom report that shows a) all activities of a particular sales rep and b) all activites across all sales rep.
How do i achieve the above? Thank you

Hey @SK_ACLI

so depending on how you 'd like to use and report over this information,

how this could be created in HubSpot.

Meaning,

if presentations/events/roadshows are Event that you do and you want to track the lead/contacts generated from them is one thing. If you want to see how many of your contacts participate in an event, is another thing (similar to the previous one).

If these are just different activities a Sales Rep do, they can be stored either as Special Task or Special Meetings in specific queues

or you can even have a Custom Object for them if you want to store different information on each record and have more advanced reporting.

for the 1st scenario you will then have a standard Sales rep - activities report

For the 2nd scenario you will need custom reports with these custom objects.

Hope this helps

Hi there- thank you for the response!

Ideally,
Whenever the sales rep connects with a lead/prospect, they will log it onto HS. Like an activity tracker or a diary log of sorts. These activities may or may not be planned by us. Could you advise what type of object and fields you would recommend to accomplish this?

i think once that property is created, yes I would probably need a custom report..
