Creating on behalf of a customer. Currently, quotes can only be recalled if they are in a published state. If they are pending (of any kind), signed, paid, etc they cannot be recalled and edited. The customer would like this restriction removed for more flexibility around quotes. The process now is to clone the quote and send a new one even when the customer paid but didn’t sign or signed but didn’t pay. This is causing duplicate quotes. Recalling any quote at any stage should also alert the customer only when they try to access the quote that additional edits are needed and that they will receive an email once it is available again (Published).

More specifically, I would love to be able to at least edit the product name in quotes that have been paid and/or signed. Sometimes people put in the wrong product name or we find a typo and would like to edit that so we can track revenue by product in our reports dashboard.
Plus so many ones to this ask. This is a big pain point for my sales team. How are others getting around this currently?
hello Hubspot?
This is a great solution, especially with HubSpot’s limitations around payment options for payment plans for customers outside of the United States. If a client opts to pay via Bank Transfer, I can not go back and remove the Stripe payment link from the quote, meaning that the quote can never be confirmed, even if the client has e-signed the quote and paid the invoice/deposit via another payment type other than Stripe.
+1 for customer need
