It would be extremely helpful and save us time if we could manually order our quote templates, keeping the most used ones at the top of the drop-down selection list.

I haven’t tried to verify if this works. But as a quick fix, have you tried naming your templates like this? Curious if they are listed in Alpha order.

I’ve had the template folders ordered manually using folder numbers. I haven’t tried that with the templates, simply because there are too many, and re-ordering, if needed, is very time-consuming. I use the alphabetic options where it’s convenient. Again, I’d have to manually re-order everything if we add one for some reason.
There are so many things we can drag-and-drop into a manual order that I’m surprised by the things we can’t order manually.
I feel the same way about Deals and Tickets in the card view. We left Trello/Jira to use HS, and that’s probably the only thing we miss - manually ordering things.
