Hello,
I am facing 2 problems:
1. I clean my whole Hubspot (after I exported it) in a tool telling me which mails were good or deleted (UseBouncer).
Now that I have my cleaned new database, i wanna know how i can import it in my hubspot again, in order to delete the contacts which are no more existing (through the tool which told me that their mail were deleted)
An Hubspot counseller told me to delete my whole Hubspot and to import my new DB, but I’m pretty sure it’s not the good way to do it.
Can you help me please?
2. The other problem I’m facing is that all the mail sent through my Hubspot are going to spams section, or even sometimes people do not receive anything. Does anyone know why?
Many thanks for your time!
Regards
Hi @DMartin76,
If you want to delete invalid contacts, you could simply get your UseBouncer list of invalid contacts and import them as explained here: Import records for multiple objects
The import file doesn’t need to contain anything else than the email address of those contacts. During the last import step, make sure to select the option to create a list. You now have a list of your invalid contacts and can delete all of the contacts on that list.
The main reason why emails go to spam is the lack of email authentication: Manage your email authentication
This requires a paid HubSpot subscription and cannot be done in the free tools.
I’ve compared more actionable steps regarding spam here: https://community.hubspot.com/t5/Email-Deliverability/E-Mails-land-in-the-spam-folder/m-p/581154/highlight/true#M1594

Got it! Here are some tips to help clean up your email efficiently:
1. Delete Unnecessary Emails
- Use the Search Bar: Search for old emails using keywords like “unsubscribe,” “promotions,” or specific dates (e.g., “before:2023/01/01”).
- Bulk Delete: In Gmail, Outlook, and other email services, you can select multiple emails at once and delete them.
2. Unsubscribe from Junk Emails
- Use Unroll.me or Clean Email: These tools help you unsubscribe from newsletters in bulk.
- Manually Unsubscribe: Scroll to the bottom of promotional emails and click “Unsubscribe.”
3. Organize Important Emails
- Create Folders/Labels: Sort emails into categories like Work, Bills, or Personal.
- Use Filters: Set up rules to automatically move emails into specific folders.
4. Empty Trash & Spam
- Delete all emails in the Trash and Spam folders to free up space.
5. Use an Email Cleaning Tool
- Cleanfox, Mailstrom, or SaneBox can help declutter your inbox automatically.
