Pipeline dashboard weekly progress by stage

Hi Community!

Do you know how can I create a dashboad for the Sales Pipeline that reflects the weekly progress by stage and total?

Hi @TVaz,

Which subscription level are you on? If you’re using the free CRM or are on a Starter subscription, you would navigate to Menu > Reporting & Data > Reports > Create report and then search for deal reports including stage information:

Once you find one to your liking, save it and set up a recurring email by following these steps: Share or export reports and dashboards

If you’re on a Professional or Enterprise subscription, you can also create custom reports: Create reports with the custom report builder

Alternatively, check out the sales report collections: Create sales reports in the sales analytics suite

You might find your desired report in there and can then set up recurring emails as well: Share or export reports and dashboards

If you cannot find your desired report, please describe in a bit more detail what exactly you would like to see on the x-axis, y-axis and which chart type you envision. I can then lay out more detailed steps for creating a custom report.

Best regards!

Hey Karsten!

I´m in the Professional subscription. I tried to break down by report, maybe it is easier to explain:

  • Pipeline by Stage: Bar or funnel chart showing the number of deald and total value at each stage.
  • Weekly Movement: Line or bar chart displaying deal progress/changes by week. X-Axis: Weeks; Y-Axis: Number of deals/total value
  • Total Progress: Cumulative chart showing total progress over time. X-Axis: Time; Y-Axis: Total deals

@TVaz

First report draft (custom report builder, data source = deals)

Second and third report: These are only available as default reports in the sales report collections, as ‘Deal change history’ and ‘Historical snapshots’. Create sales reports in the sales analytics suite

(Custom reports always show the current status of deals; it’s not possible to create custom reports that show the development of deals over time.)

Let me know if you have any follow-up questions and please mark my replies as accepted solutions. It helps other forum members (and me) a lot.

Have a great weekend!

Thank you, Karsten.

Just one question (maybe I should have mentioned this before). I have more than once pipeline (one for each type of produtc). Can I choose the pipeline I want in these reports?

@TVaz yes, in custom report simply add a filter for ‘Pipeline stage’, in sales collection reports you’ll find this in the right sidebar.

You mean here? I can´t find this option you mentioned.

@TVaz in the sidebar to the left, search for “Pipeline stage” – you can then drag it to the right where it says “Drag fields here”.

Yes, I tried this but the only options I see are those. =/

@TVaz my bad, please try ‘Deal stage’.

No. Nothing really changes. Is there any other type of report that might be easir to filter by pipeline?

@TVaz my bad again, I misread. Here’s the pipeline filter:

Applying this filter it doesn´t change anything in my grafic.

@TVaz once you’ve added it to the filters, have you clicked into it and specified a pipeline? (It says ‘Click to apply filter’)

When I click it, that´s what I see. And even if I apply the filter, clicking in none, later I can´t find the option to specify a pipeline.

@TVaz you need to select your pipeline under “is any of”.

Perfect! Thank you so much :slightly_smiling_face:
