It would be nice to know how the payment information/instructions are displayed (language) or to add a language picker on the payment landing page.
Wihtout the language this much needed feature is unfortunately unusable… Creating an invoice in English and then clicking on the payment link sends you to a page in another language? Or creating a payment link for our website in 3 languages can only be used in the default language of the payment link. The people in th eother languages should also be able to pay…
We’ve recently launched a Spanish-only medical service in Mexico and are using HubSpot payment links as part of our subscription onboarding. Unfortunately, when a customer’s Safari browser is
set to Spanish, payment forms still default to English for critical UI elements like “Email address”, “Expiration date”, or checkboxes.
After testing and debugging with HubSpot Support, we found that the only workaround is to force Safari language settings at the app level — a complex and non-obvious step for end users. This makes the payment process feel inconsistent and confusing.
Suggestion: Please consider allowing a ?language=es parameter in the URL or adding a language selector to the payment form UI. This would give creators more control and ensure a consistent experience for customers in non-English markets.
You can see how broken the experience is for Safari users here:
