I’m a heavy user of HubSpot meetings, and have my Zoom account linked.
I had a meeting this morning with a contact for a product demo. I figured something had gone wrong at my end, as there was no Zoom meeting waiting for me. Just had an email from a contact I’m meeting with later in the week to ask me where her Zoom link was…
Turns out my integration needed refreshing. Nothing wrong with it, just needed to re-link, for some reason.
In the meantime, I’ve had a dozen or so meetings booked for which I now need to manually set up Zoom meetings and email the contacts/update calendar events to ensure they’ve got the relevant details. Bit of a pain.
I get email, desktop, and browser notifications when someone books a meeting with me in HubSpot. As HubSpot is aware that a) someone has used a meeting link which uses the Zoom integration, and b) my Zoom integration is broken, it would be AMAZING if HubSpot could notify users of this.
For example: “Someone just booked a meeting with you using [Meeting Link A]; however it looks like there is an issue with your Zoom app integration. Click Here to fix the integration, then re-send the meeting link to your contact”.
Won’t save me a bunch of admin I now have to do to clean up, but might save others the same pain in future?!
Other than that, the Zoom integration is awesome and saves me lots of manual work on a daily basis.
