The new form editor does not allow us to set it as rawHTML, meaning we cannot, or only very cumbersome, adapt it to our CSS and design. This unnecessarily complicates our process.

That option still exists, is just hidden well. The following should appear once you update / publish a form.

Just to add a little, but important detail:
as of today, the “get embed code”/Developer mode option is available only for Pro&Enterprise tier. Free and Starter do not support it (right now).
