A new property type that allows users to select multiple options from a predefined list and assign a custom value to each selected option.
Unlike a standard multi-select property, where users can only select options, this property would allow users to enter a separate value for each selected option.
The available options would be predefined, but the values would be entered dynamically and could differ for each record.
Example: Customer Usage
Imagine a property called “Current Annual Usage”, where users can register a customer’s usage across different categories.
For example:
- Electricity → 50,000 kWh
- Coffee → 200 kg
- Office supplies → 30,000 NOK
Each customer may have different categories and values depending on their needs. Users should be able to select the relevant categories and enter the corresponding amounts for each one.
This information could later be used to compare customer usage with available agreements and identify potential savings.
Expected Functionality
- Select multiple options from a predefined list.
- Enter a separate value for each selected option.
- Add, edit, or remove options and their associated values.
- Enter values dynamically rather than having to define them in advance.
- Keep each value linked to the correct selected option.
Goal
Provide a flexible way to store multiple option-value pairs within a single property. This would reduce the need to create separate properties for every possible option and make it easier to manage data where each record can have different combinations of options and values.
