We want to be able to create Sales Orders in NS upon the closure of a new deal in Hubspot. I’ve started to work on Testing the integration in our sandboxes, but am running into a few road blocks. Since we do not have Ops Hub, we can only map standard fields with the integration.
We are running into an issue with creating a Sales Order because in NetSuite we require “ARM Date” to create the order. It’s my finance team’s understanding that this field is standard in NetSuite, so I’m curious if that is the case and why I cannot map the field to a Hubspot field if it is.
Any guidance is much apprecaited!
Hey @EMcGrath
In HubSpot, you can only map default properties to NetSuite fields. If “ARM Date” is a custom field in NetSuite, it might not be available for mapping.
You might need to use a middleware like Zapier or Workato, or a specialized integration tool to map custom fields.
For more information on this, you check the HubSpot and Netsuit Integration: Connect HubSpot and NetSuite

Thanks @Jigar_Thakker - I keep digging to see if I can find out if the field is custom or not. Do you know how others have used Zapier to connect Hubspot? As far as I can tell, NetSuite isn’t a supported application with Zapier.

Hey @EMcGrath
for custom properties
I believe you are going to need Operations Hub
In Hubspot, you can sync to default Netsuite fields and custom transaction body fields. The custom fields appear in the Hubspot workflow as “custbody_” and appear in Netsuite under Customization → Lists, Records, Fields → Transaction Body Fields.
If ARM date is not a default field or this type of custom field, it cannot sync over.
If ARM date is always a certain amount of time from order creation date, then you could try to set up a custom workflow within Netsuite to look for new sales orders and set the ARM date that way.
Hope this helps!
Also, I don’t see this as a default field: https://docs.oracle.com/en/cloud/saas/netsuite/ns-online-help/bridgehead_N2843917.html#Transaction-Body-Fields
Yeah, that’s a common limitation with the default HubSpot-NetSuite integration, you’re usually stuck with just the standard fields. If you need to map fields like ARM Date, you might try Skyvia, since it gives more flexibility for custom field mapping. You can check it here.
