there are great benefits to showing just the first few questions on a form which has more questions than people usually want to complete. Please add multi step forms to HubSpot

This would be incredibly helpful.

Is there a work-around within Hubspot n the meantime?

@SabariRam any update here. This is MUCH MUCH needed. Would love to see this live.

Multistep forms

At my work we are using long forms (I build them), when we need a lot of informations from our applicants. Therefore it is super important that we can costomize the forms with tabs, color, progress bar, etc., to make it more userfriendly and thereby get more leads.
We are changing from Ninja Forms to HubSpot and we really hope, that you also will make a multistep/multitab form availble, as it is in harmony with one of your goals - creating more leads for your clients, when they use HubSpot.

@SabariRam is is standard practice to change status of something that was “in planning” for almost two years, to “Being Reviewed” and not give a little bit of an update?
It feels like a complete disregard for your customers who have had to hack together different solutions for way longer than should ever have been necessary. Now this is a subjective judgement call obviously, but given the cost of Marketing Hub, I’d have thought that this feature should have been launched years ago.
Any update you can give would, I am sure, be greatly appreciated by others and not just myself.

I second MissTipsi’s sentiment - creating web leads has a lot to do with user experience. Long forms are not great, where stepped forms with fewer inputs can help a lot.

Right now the only real options are to use an extension/plugin via wordpress or to use HTML forms and develop a custom javascript solution… which is fine, but many people who use HubSpot are more marketers, CMS/WP site builders and content creators than javascript developers.

Expanding exposure to nicely-customizeable stepped forms to the wide array of hubspot customer types would be fantastic not just for our clients, but for generating greater lead volume across the entire network of HubSpot users… and that ultimately translates to better stock prices for Hubspot due to greater client enthusiasm, retainment and success (i.e. continued investment in hubspot products and services).

Hi Hubspot team! Would be great to see this built out. We too would use it on our complex forms.

Please add the multi-step form option to HubSpot. Searching and testing apps that don’t have good support on how to set it up have been time-consuming. I prefer to work with the HubSpot team on this.
Thanks

Yes, we definitely need the ability to natively create multi-step forms in HubSpot!

same idea here being reviewed.

I would appreciate the possibility to do multistep forms with a more creative builder, similar to i.e. www.involve.me

+1 Would love to get this soon so we don’t have to pay yet another service for a basic functionnality!

Having multi-step form creation native in HubSpot would be a huge timesaver and would eliminate potential errors that can be created by duplicating pages and forms to “make” a multi-step form.

Conversion Rate Optimization

“What we found is that displaying a multi-step form vastly outperformed the other treatments we tested, showing a 20% improvement over the control,” said Hinton.

It’s worth noting that the winning variant, D, had a much higher conversion on mobile than it did on desktop. However, the multi-step form performed well on both device types.

“The multi-step form was so successful that we’ve decided to implement it ahead of the pages being redesigned, so we can capitalize on its strong performance,” said Hinton.

Any progres or timeline on making this a reality?

@YvesFrateur, There is so much data around the improvments to conversion rate using multi-step forms, especially around mobile. It’s seems crazy that 5 years later this piece is still sitting here, especially when Hubspot is referencing it in their own content.

Hubspot added a mutli-step feature to the customer feedback forms that works nicely! Seems like that feature could be easily carried over to contact forms?

Hello!
Which tool are you currently using to build the multi-step forms? Or are
they coded by a developer?

I’ve been using HubSpot Marketplace for now. I like that it uses a single form vs chained forms.

Thanks so much for the recommendation!
