Hi Hubspot team, sorting by more than one column should be ideal including associated properties. It would be very helpful to sort Deals table view by Deals-> Company instead of just Deal Name. In the new Beta I can only see filter by one column and Company is not included. Please review and include this in new releases to help users to track the pipeline. Appreciate your help. Cheers!

I am working on a Deal Pipeline in List View.
I would like to sort by two criteria being firstly Deal Stage and then by Close Date. This would be a very handy update.
Thank you!
I agree!!!
This seems like such basic functionality for any table that has more than a couple of columns. There are a bunch of product ideas or help posts here in the HubSpot community where this topic keeps coming up -- Deals, Companies, Contacts, you name it.
Creating multiple views so that you can get to a single sort column is not a satisfactory answer as has been provided by others on the threads I’ve seen. First, this creates a bunch more work for the user. Second, it creates a clunky user experience. If we are doing a pipeline review or using the view in some real-life collaborative way, it wastes time and is hard for everyone to follow if you need to skip between multiple saved views. Sorting so that the order you want to review is the order that is displayed feels like the obvious and most straightforward answer to this challenge.
I have just been asking the very same question, its so easy in Excel, yet in this database you can not do it. Even some of the old type CRMs could do this. Come on Hubspot, lets have more basic functions!
We promote our sales team utilize HubSpot as much as possible, but it is difficult for managers to maintain company or contact views that include multiple sales rep’s companies or contacts when they can’t sort by more than one column. We then get into scenarios where the managers are requesting exports to be able to simply organize the information better. The point is to create a single source for all of this to be housed and managed and the limits on view sorting makes that difficult.
Agree with the two most recent opinions. We may need to explore other CRM options that enable this functionality.
Yes, we desperately want to leave excel behind, however there are some key features (this among them) that makes hubspot dreadful for ops MGMT - managing order status in particular.
Agreed, this is insanely basic functionality that’s available in Excel and critical for any business environment to be able to sort by Probability (high/med/low), then by quarter, then by dollar amount.
Any word on this? Trying to migrate from sheets to Hubspot, but not being able to filter multiple columns is quite the deal breaker. It’s easier to track data, but having the export all the data back into sheets, just to filter properly is such a pain.
This would be super useful, on all list views including custom objects. You also cannot sort on association columns, if this was a “sort by number of associations” it would greatly help.
Hi everyone,
I’m Lily, the PM for HubSpot’s Index Page.
Thank you for taking the time to share this idea! We agree that this feature could be very useful, but don’t have plans to build this right now. We have other higher-priority work in flight that we need to see through first but it’s on our radar for future consideration.
Thanks,
Lily
+1 for this feature. This is needed in the CRM view as well as in Segment view.
Each day that passes by without this feature creates another export to Excel ![]()
