I was shocked to realize that there is no way to sort filtered views by multiple fields to prioritize which objects need to be acted on first. I was even more shocked to find that this feature has been requested for years and not implemented.
So many other platforms have this functionality. Moving from a different CRM to Hubspot, it was disappointing to find this lacking. We’d love to be able to work more efficiently with this feature!
Dual sorting in views would improve qualification workflows significantly.
In our “To qualify” contact view, we want to prioritize:
- Contacts assigned to me with missing key info (like contact type or company),
- Then unassigned contacts, sorted by score to focus on high-priority leads.
Right now, HubSpot only allows sorting by one property, which makes it difficult to triage properly.
Please consider enabling multi-level sorting (e.g. Owner → Score) in views — it would be a game changer for CRM data hygiene and prioritization.
This isn’t just about convenience; it’s about giving users complete control over how they view and analyze their data, regardless of whether it’s a pre-built standard object or a custom one they’ve created. This level of granular control empowers users to gain deeper insights and make more informed decisions by arranging information precisely as needed. It would significantly enhance usability and analytical capabilities across the entire platform.
Add us to the list. And we need DESC sort on date columns. That is, GROUP BY customer name column, and SORT DESC on a last update Date column. This is about the most useful customer report possible.
This super simple ask is over 4 years old. Is anyone from Hubspot reading these? Who drives customer support at Hubspot?
5 years later and still needed! Even with all the changes they’ve made to the custom reporting, this feature is still missing. I need to sort by date and then my time and then by company and then by name. Literally unable to within a report in HubSpot. I have to export out to excel for “advanced” sorting; Never thought in 2025 i’d call multi-column sorting “advanced” lol.
This is a needed feature as the ability to sort any table view by one column and then by another is critical to get a proper view.

YES PLEASE! This seems super obvious. I know it won’t necessarily bring much revenue to Hubspot, but this needs to be added.

There are basic things any CRM with tables needs…like the basics of working with tables.
The ability to sort and nested sort- ✓ The ability to filter data based on nested boolean logic
- ✓ The ability to reorder and resize columns
The ability to wrap header columns so we don’t lose context. Didn’t this used to be a thing…what happened?- ✓ The ability to freeze columns so we don’t lose context when we scroll wide data tables
I’ll take the basics over more AI features anyday. Idc how much AI a product has, if the product can’t perform basic expectations, it makes me question it’s ability to do anything.
