TL;DR Is there a way to create a minimum date rollup property?
For example, let’s say I create a custom conversion record for every completed meeting. Those meeting conversion records are associated with a company. I want to fill in a field on the company record with the very first associated conversion meeting date.
I’m open to any third party tools, or turning dates into integers/wizardry.
Hey @TH7, I think you can use a workflow to achieve this.
Create a workflow that triggers on creation of the meeting conversion record.
In the workflow, update the company record with the meeting start date.
You can also do something similar with HubDB.
Create a HubDB table and keep track of the meeting conversion records.
Create a view on the table and calculate the min date and store it in a column.
Create a workflow that triggers on creation of the meeting conversion record.
In the workflow, update the company record with the min date from your HubDB view.
Can you create a property on the Company record for “First Converted Meeting Date” and then set the date when “First Meeting Booked” on the company is known? You can use a Workflow to copy the value into the static field created to store that date.
This is definately the simplest solution, but I am working with historical data. I suppose I could just manually calculate the min dates of historical data and use a workflow without re-enrollment for the rest.
I was concerned about account merges not being accounted for.
