I have two different Squarespace sites, one in French and one in English, due to Squarespace multilingual limitations. These sites share the same HubSpot tracking code. Our HubSpot is set up in English. I’m wondering if there’s a way to map contact fields, for example “Pays” to “Country” because the properties for anyone using the French contact form won’t display in my list view or contact records unless I add all the French fields to those views. This will become even more unmanageable as soon as I add a third language.
This is a tricky one becuase, based on other posts I’ve read, HubSpot collected forms appears to scrap the field lables rather than the back-end/internal names.
In your situatution, my only suggestions to try are:
Hide your form lables and make them common, and display a manully created feild name instead
Try switching to the forms tool that is now included in HubSpot starter - although these may not be fully compatible with Squarespace.
Acutally, I thought of third possible option. You could send the form submissions to Zapier first and use that to send the data to the right properties in HubSpot.
Thanks Phil! Great suggestions. I have opted for a common English-language form across all my sites in order to work around the issue. If it becomes an issue in the future I’ll try the Zapier route as you suggest. Cheers and thanks again for your reply.
