Duplicate content wouldn’t be caused by having http(s) content because the servers are typically setup to redirecdt all traffic to https if the visitor tries to come into the insecure connection. We might need some more information about your duplicate content or what SEMRush is seeing.
Thank you for your reply. Let me give you more information. We originally had our blog hosted on our WordPress website but later transferred our blog to Hubspot. Currently, we have a HubSpot SEO recommendation to
“Make sure all pages load over a secure connection” however, we already have the HTTPS certificate. Please note these recommendations are only for links to all of our blog posts.
When I log on to SEMrush, I see we have “43 pages have duplicate content issues” which is because it is detecting an HTTP and HTTPS link. I have included images for reference. Do you know how we can fix this?
@ADunbar have you completed all the steps to set up HTTPS in HubSpot per this article? Based on HubSpot’s recommendation to use a secure connection in your screenshot, it looks like HubSpot is still seeing the HTTP as the main connection.
