Mailing campaigns

I am currently using the free version of HubSpot. I have loaded my contacts.

I now want to indicate that a bunch of them have recieved email campaigns…so some received email campaign 1, some 2, some 3, some 4…some overlap…meaning they got email campaign 1 and 4

First, what is the best way to enter this information. should it be a task or a calendar item?

Whatever it is…is there a way to do it in bulk?

And then lastly. When I want to see all of the people that have had a particular campaign…what is the way to filter to just those people

Thanks, Mark

Since HubSpot Marketing automagically tracks campaigns sent via HubSpot for us, we’re guessing your’s will be a temporary solution only for old campaigns.

-1- Setup a custom contact property named ‘Old Campaigns’ | type: multi-checkbox | options: Campaign-01, Campaign-02, Campaign-03, etc. Be sure to use 2-digit numbers in your names and to keep the names relatively short (10-20 characters)
- see Creating HubSpot Custom Properties

-2- Create a .csv file with YOUR DATA to match the headers in the following example.
Email, Old Campaigns
email1@example.com, Campaign-01
email2@example.com, Campaign-02
email3@example.com, Campaign-01;Campaign-02
email4@example.com, Campaign-02;Campaign-03
email5@example.com, Campaign-01;Campaign-02;Campaign-03

-3- Re-Import your contacts and select the ‘update existing contacts’ option.
This will allow you to quickly and easily update in bulk.
- see Everything you need to know about HubSpot Importing

-4- Filter your Contact view based on whatever combination of ‘Old Campaigns’ you’d like!
- see Create and Customize HubSpot Saved Filters
