Below is my issue:
There are 2 ways to signup for our app: email or google/facebook OAuth and:
1. When a user signs up via our “Sign Up Form” using their email, we successfully gather information via Hubspot tracking.
2. However, if a user opts for Google or Facebook Authentication on the same form, we encounter a problem. In this scenario, Hubspot does not automatically create a contact. To circumvent this, we’ve integrated a “bcc” code into our “Welcome Email”. This workaround, unfortunately, results in the loss of critical analytical data. The key metrics we miss are:
- First Page Seen
- Original Source
- Original Drill-Down Source
- First Referring Site
Is there a way to use Google OAuth and not lose tracking data?
Hi @Patrykqc,
Thank you for reaching out to the Community!
I’d like to share this article for information: “Working with OAuth”.
I also wanted to invite a couple of subject matter experts to this conversation: Hi @louischausse, @miljkovicmisa and @Teun do you have suggestions to help @Patrykqc, please?
Also, if anybody else has anything to add and/or share, please feel free to join in the conversation
Thank you very much
for your help and have a lovely day!
Best,

@BérangèreL thank you for your answer. I believe that documentation you shared talks about Hubspot OAuth and I am having issue with Hubspot Tracking not working with Google OAuth so I haven’t found any solution there.
Hi @Patrykqc,
Thanks for the clarification!
In that case, I will move your post to you the Developer Forum since they will be better equipped to help you on this specific use case.
Thank you and have a great weekend!
Best,
Bérangère
I am facing the similar problem.
Can you help me track the data of oAuth based signup members on my own website?
