Hi
I have created a form for a Show we are exhibiting at next week. I have just received an email asking if I can add a QR code to the Form. I have searched the Academy videos and also You Tube and not been successful.
The QR Code will be printed on a board, we would then need them to complete basics such as name, address etc, and then select the products they are interested in
Hi @JGray30,
Yes, simply add the form or landing page link to a QR code generator: https://www.qr-code-generator.com/
This is just the first Google result, you’ll find many free alternatives.
Best regards
Hi
Managed to do it, didnt relaise I had to go external to generate the QR code
I used QR Code Generator . com and got a note from them that if I didn’t buy a subscription, my QR code will be invalid. My event is next week and I either need to subscribe or get another option and paste a sticker on my hard-printed content.
My fault - I didn’t realize my ‘free-trial’ was only a QR code for a while unless I pay.
Sharing as a helpful FYI.
Adding to what @karstenkoehler said — the easiest workflow is: create your HubSpot form, publish it on a landing page, grab the URL, and generate a QR code pointing to it.
One important tip that @KMcMahonCO’s experience highlights: watch out for QR generators that expire your codes after a free trial. If you’re printing the QR on physical materials for a tradeshow or event, you want one that won’t go dead on you.
Also, if you want to track which QR code drove the form submission in your HubSpot reports, add UTM parameters to the URL before generating the QR. Something like ?utm_source=qr&utm_medium=print&utm_campaign=tradeshow — that way it shows up properly in your attribution reports.
