Hi guys, we’ve begun rolling out the “Leads” object, and I’ve encountered a challenge that I hope the community can help me solve.
When the Lead object was launched in beta, I could have sworn there were properties for “time entered” and “time exited” lead stages. But these seem to have disappeared. I guess this is part of the “new and improved” lifecycle stage properties, but I’m not seeing any way I can build a report showing me “number of leads entered stage X in Y timeframe”.
What am I missing here?
Hi @MariaWL,
You’re correct – these properties currently do not exist. (I’m not sure if they did but either way that doesn’t change the status quo.)
In any case, I’m sure that this is something the product team will add later on as it’s a no-brainer.
Until then, you would have to use custom date properties and lead-based workflows to stamp those date properties. To populate this historically, you would export the property history of the ‘Lead pipeline stage’ lead property: Export property history – you can then re-import the date information back into your custom date properties.
It’s not nice but the fastest way to the report you’re looking for.
Best regards!
Thanks @karstenkoehler , that’s what I thought, just hoped I was missing something. We’re several people who are very sure those properties were there in the beta, so here’s hoping they come back soon!
