We have been using HubSpot for half a year now, but we are still missing a feature of our old CRM.

It would be super helpful to have quick access to recently accessed data records; in principle, this would simply be a list of the most recently accessed data records sorted by time. It would also be great to be able to switch between “All”, “Company”, “Contacts”, etc. … It’s often the case with us that you might be torn away from your current work by an inbound call and are no longer sure where you were last. Or you might find yourself clicking from data record to data record during processing, especially if you are working through a network of several companies.

Of course, it would be possible to retrieve this via the browser history, but it would be much more user-friendly. By clicking on the search at the top, I also get a history, but only for data records that I last opened via the search.

I completely concur, I have also had this feature on other CRMs, which is super helpful for someone who’s an actively customer-interfacing sales-person. With Sales frequently being a very live environment, calls keep coming that don’t regard what you’re doing at the time. It’s easy to have a sequence of events tumble in on you before you finished dealing with an earlier event. To be able to trace your steps back to an earlier task (and it’s associated record), enables you to let fewer things slip through the cracks.
