I am writing to give you feedback on the HubSpot-Jira integration, specifically regarding the lack of notifications in HubSpot when a linked Jira ticket is updated.
Currently, when a comment is added to a Jira issue, there is no internal notification in the hubspot ticket. As a result, the owner may not be aware of important updates, which can hinder timely responses and resolution of customer issues. The absence of real-time notifications for ticket owners about these updates remains a significant gap.
To enhance the efficiency of our support and development teams, I request the implementation of a feature that triggers notifications in HubSpot whenever a linked Jira ticket is updated.
This improvement would ensure that ticket owners are promptly informed of any changes, enabling them to take necessary actions without delay.
+ 1.
In general the native Jira-HubSpot integration is so basic, that you can not really use it, which is sad.
I have a question regarding the use case: In your scenario the customer support uses HubSpot tickets but the development teams use Jira, correct? So in cases where customer support needs develompent support, they create a Jira ticket through HubSpot and update the customer about the status of the dev ticket. Did I understand correctly?
From my previous experience this should be solvable with this app. Not sponsored. Not sure about triggering notifications in HubSpot though, but the app can snyc almost all properties bidirectional. It should be possible to find a workaround.
But in the end its a workaround and improving the native integration would be a great thing with lots of potential since more and more companies use Jira + HubSpot.
