Issue with PDF orientation for sharing reports

Hi everyone,

I’m running into an issue related to PDF orientation in HubSpot and wanted to see if anyone has found a good workaround.

We were initially downloading/sharing those reports as PDFs, but HubSpot seems to force a vertical orientation by default, which is affecting how the content is displayed. Because of this, the layout doesn’t appear correctly and its cutting information from the charts.

My questions are:

  • Is the vertical orientation for PDFs a fixed behavior in HubSpot, or is there a way to control it?
  • Has anyone found a better approach for preserving the original layout?

Any insights or best practices would be really appreciated. Thanks!

Hi @ManuZuluaga ,

I’d recommend exporting reports as a ZIP of PNGs, as this format generally preserves the best visual quality across most report types. While PDFs can work well for certain visualizations (e.g., bar or pie charts), larger reports—such as tables—may be truncated.

For optimal formatting and clarity, ZIP (PNGs) or PPTX exports typically provide the best results.

Hope this helps!
