It would be great if HubSpot could create an inventory module. We want to associate products (software licenses) to deals which include specific information like configuration information, license expiry date etc.
The workaround that has been suggested is custom company properties which would record this information, but as customers may have multiple licenses for multiple products this would require adding a lot of fields which may not be used in some cases.
They are not necessarily related to deal records as there could be upgrades or configuration changes not associated with the deal
It would be much handier to have a built in Inventory module where you could view all of this information and filter quickly.

We just added a new app to tracks inventory for products within HubSpot. It can also sync with Shopify, BigCommerce, etc., and adds inventory data within HubSpot. It integrates nicely with HS workflows and Reports and Deals.
Example Use Case - A company that has b2c operation with Shopify or BigCommerce but also has a sales team that uses HubSpot to create deals within HubSpot and needs instant inventory numbers. When Deals are closed/won it adjusts the inventory and syncs back to your eCommerce store.
