Hi, I am not sure about the information stated in the marketplace regarding the Sendgrid integration with Hubspot. It syncs contacts, but it seems to be an integration for transactional email and not emailmarketing of Sengrid. Does anyone know if this Sengrid integration als 1) syncs contacts when you have a new subscriber for your newsletter and 2) syncs the information to the CRM contact, for example the newsletter that that contact has received from us.

I’m afraid I’ve not had experience with the app found on the marketplace, however looking at the documentation it does read that you are correct in your assumption. This would explain the one-way data update of Events --> Contacts (and seems to suggest that this would not create new contacts, as it is syncing Events to an existing Contact timeline).
I have seen @Andrea-A at Presago has developed a SendGrid Connector. Check out the thread HERE.
It might not suit you exactly, but they may be able to help further as experts in SendGrid/HubSpot integration.
