We at SEMrush are investigating a possibility to integrate our SEO Writing Assistant plug-in with the Hubspot’s blog editing interface.
However, official documentation suggests that right now the only options to integrate into Hubspot are to appear in the CRM or the Timeline.
Is that correct or are we missing something?

That’s right, there’s no way currently to create an integration to appear inside the blog post editor. It sounds like you have a pretty good handle on our docs already, but we do have some CMS APIs that you can find listed here: 2026-03 API reference - HubSpot docs. So you could create something that integrates with the blog tool, but it wouldn’t display inside the editor in HubSpot, like how you’re thinking with timelines or CRM extensions.
This may depend on what you’re trying to build, but could you build out a custom module for the blog post pages? We have documentation on that here: Modules Overview - HubSpot docs.
Regarding an integration, I’d suggest creating an idea here: https://community.hubspot.com/t5/custom/page/page-id/ideaslandingpage and giving some context on why that functionality would be helpful. And if you have any other questions let me know.
