Something I would definitely do in making content in the future is a point the particular video lesson for this question also mentioned, and that is being more granular and specific with every stage of the content development I do. I used to be the type to conceptualize and develop ideas without concrete stages and just wing and feel whenever it seems done and polished, not usually considering drafts, idea dumps, and editing stages of the creation process. I definitely think that it is highly essential to practice this workflow as it gives way for better quality creation of content. It saves time and allows bigger space for creativity to flourish.
i would try to find my mistakes in my current content piece and would try to improve them in my next work. Also I would try to organize my ideas in one place which would make things easy for me to work on my next content , it’d help me keep things handy.
Before creating my next piece of content I want to establish a framework that I can adjust to a diverse range of media/content so that I can better organize my work. I want to create something that is vague enough that I can adjust and tailor it to the needs of any piece of content, but thorough enough that I am able to make sure I’m hitting all of my criteria and supporting the smooth process of everything.
Honestly for me it’d be making a simple shoot brief before every shoot. Right now I just write the script and jump straight into filming — the tone, the energy, who’s saying what and how, all of that’s just in my head. Half the time my friends end up asking me mid-shoot “bhai isme serious bolun ya funny?” and we waste time figuring it out on the spot.
As a copywriter, my process starts with deeply understanding the customer’s pain points before I write a single word. One thing I could do to improve my current process is formalize this into a repeatable research step:
**1. Research the pain point** — dig into reviews, forums, competitor messaging, and direct customer language to understand exactly what’s frustrating them.
**2. Map it to the product’s solution** — identify which features or benefits directly solve that specific pain.
**3. Build the narrative** — position the product not just as a fix, but as the thing that moves the customer from frustration to relief, so the copy naturally inspires action rather than just describing features.
Going forward, I want to make this a documented checklist I run through before every project, so it’s consistent whether I’m writing for a SaaS landing page or a FinTech explainer, and easier for clients to see exactly how I work with them.
For me
I am completely beginner here and I am just learning how to be a great content creater .
And I am just exploring the ideas of the other’s people how they are doing and what they are doing in thier works .
I am also little bit curious and excited
for my work.
There’s tons of things you could theoretically do to improve your process which sounds good but a lot of things are just time wasters, you feel good that you built a process but for example if you’re sending out a survey and nobody ever answers or you just get fluff back like “good job
”, it’s not really of value. What I would do to improve my process is really lean it out, anything that isn’t actually helping gets cut from the process. Sure, there’s some things that are really helpful like if you have multiple people working on content and need to manage them and track things having a trello with 6 statuses can help but when it’s just me creating content for a single business or working with clients operating differnt businesses, having six steps can really just waste a lot of time.
TLDR: Make lean processes and cut anything that doesn’t have a clear value (especially anything that’s just clearly wasting time).
I could study the outcomes of my old content and see what strategies worked and didn’t work in previous content campaigns. I will improve on the most successful strategies to create new content that is even more successful.
Hindsight is always 20/20. Revisiting previous works and identifying gaps and opportunities.
We consume so much content on social media and with a new trend emerging almost every week, that the excitement to jump on the ‘trend train’ can sometimes be counter-productive. This type of content is quicker and easier to create but I sometimes feel that they don’t fully align with the values and missions of the brand.
So to improve the process, I would like to create a monthly sheet /calendar similar to the one showed in the lecture but also clearly highlight the brand’s ‘why’ at the top. This would be a constant reminder for the team of what the brand stands for, who their audience is and what are their problems.
This would ensure that the content remains consistent, authentic and intentional.
I have to put out of public some videos. because I broke the rules to much. thanks a lot guys.
