Hi,
Im trying to make an integration with Hubspot, and I need to know how does he Hubspot calling app works. How does the click-to-call buttom work? How can we make that call go throu our service? Can it make IP calls? If I call a Siptrunk, is there any header that identifies the agent calling? Asuming several agents are calling to the same siptrunk, how could I recognize which agent is making the call? What IPs does Hubspot use to make the calls?
Thanks in advance
H, @SManterola
Thanks for reaching out. We appreciate your curiosity and are happy to offer some guidance, but it is worth noting that the community may not be able to provide specific solutions without more information. I’d like to invite some of our community members to the conversation — @Phil_Vallender @himanshurauthan @nikodev, do you have any experience you can share with @SManterola?
To get a more profound understanding of the HubSpot Calling app and its functionality, I would recommend reviewing HubSpot’s Developer Documentation and API references — Calling extensions API and Calling Extensions SDK. This can help you gain a more in-depth understanding of the available features and how they might work with your service.
Regarding HubSpot’s click-to-call button, it’s generally designed to work with supported calling extensions or the native calling functionality within the HubSpot platform. Customizing the click-to-call button to route calls through your service may require some development work, and the feasibility of doing so would depend on the compatibility of your service and HubSpot’s APIs.
If you can provide more details about your calling service, the technology stack you’re using, and your specific integration requirements, we would be better equipped to offer more tailored advice.
In the meantime, please don’t hesitate to explore the available resources and reach out to us with any additional questions or context.
Best,
Jaycee
