I’ve been using HubSpot for a long time both Desktop & Mobile Version. So I’ve noticed that Mobile app’s Calling allows us to call via phone no. only.
I think that mobile app would be flexible, if there are many alternative ways to call the contact rather than calling directly through phone no. (i.e. Redirect to the another calling app).
Nevertheless, sometimes we are integrating log-call data with HubSpot & another Calling system together and logging result to another app.

Plus one for this feature ask! Our employees have a VOIP app installed on their phones and are required to use that for communicating with customers, but they have no way of doing that aside from copying and pasting the phone number into the VOIP app.
+1000 for this idea. Also using a SIP client on phone. Would be amazing if we can route calls via VoIP app.

I’m trying to have team use the company softphone on their iPhones/Androids so they can call customers from the main office or their corporate Caller ID without giving an inappropriate Caller ID, such as their personal mobile numbers. In HubSpot, I need click-to-dial to open a different dialer (a softphone e.g. Zoom phone or Aircall) instead of the native phone dialer, but HubSpot tech support have confirmed this is not an option. We recently migrated from Pipedrive CRM where this was an option. HubSpot tech support suggested posting it here to get votes, but 30mo later from the initial request here, I don’t have great hopes… irony that an elite CRM doesn’t have this functionality, and more basic ones do!

I have a personal mobile phone - for work, we use Zoom calling, so when I call a client, I call from teh Zoom app. However, and it’s SO FRUSTRATING, when I select a client’s number form the Hubspot app, I cannot select the Zoom client to make the call - the only option is to call from my personal mobile number, which will be an unidentified number for my clients, or to install Hubspot calling.
I’m a sales guy, so want to make most of my time by calling clients when driving between appointments, and this is where I get drieven CRAZY - I have to open the Hubspot app, copy the client’s number, open the Zoom app, paste the number, make call, reopen the Hubspot app to make any notes - this does my head in and is completly frustrating - please can we URGENTLY add calling from phone clients a priority???
