How do I create a list based on a payment link completion

We are going to start using Hubspot payments. I would like to create lists based on contacts who made payments via specific payment links. How do I accomplish this?

Thanks for reaching out to the Community!

You can create a contact-based list. Within the filters, navigate to “filtering on” and choose “payment,” followed by “source URL.” Enter the payment URL in that field, and it will display all individuals who made their payment through it.

Hi there! A few questions regarding this solution (as we’re doing something similar):

1) If the payment url is ater deleted / removed from the landing page, will the url attached to the payment record be affected - causing this person to be removed from the list?

2) What recommendations do you have if the person submitting the payment is not the one actually registering - for example, a secretary submits the payment on behalf of the CEO. Could I back-end / manually edit the CEO’s record with this info - or is there some way to transfer that in? Currently, the secretary will show up on the list, but I want the CEO to appear instead.

How does the source URL indicate that the payment was complete? Versus they visited the page with the Payment form?

Not really sure why this was marked as the accepted solution..this method does not work at all. The fact that Hubspot has not addressed this issue and added a way to easily trigger workflows based off ‘Payment Link Name’ is astounding.

To be clear: There is currently NO way to trigger a workflow based off of a payment link. Crazy.
